Who are you?
You’ve experienced anxiety and depression in your life and you’ve come out the other side.
You’ve learned to get by and function but you feel like there’s something missing. This isn’t what you hoped truly living would feel like.
You want to dream big but there’s this voice in your head that cuts you down anytime you try.
You feel to the depths of your being there is more meant for you out there, but you have no idea how to go out and grasp it.
Every time you trip up or make a mistake you spend so much time beating yourself up about it.
Sometimes, you’re your own worst enemy.
You want to look in the mirror and love what you see. You want to feel good enough, loved, and capable of doing all the things you dream about.
You want to grow but every time you try and fail it takes you longer and longer to be motivated to try again.
You’re tired of beating yourself up for being human.
What has been holding you back?
Before we can really pursue our dreams, we have to change how we feel about ourselves. We tear ourselves down and expect that that is the way towards greatness.
We look in the mirror and pick apart everything we see. We make a mistake and fixate on all the little things we did wrong that landed us where we are today: staring back at ourselves and resenting our own reflection.
We hound our own mind with thoughts of not being attractive, not being enough, and of not being capable.
And then we hope dreams will come true. We hope for happiness and love… but we systematically strip it away from ourselves every chance we get.
Now this problem isn’t actually our fault. We didn’t wake up one day and do this skewed math, “If I just cut myself down small enough, frequently enough, badly enough… then maybe one day I’ll be great.”
This is something we’re taught every moment of every day. We’re taught that who we are is not enough. That we have to look different, act different, BE different to be worth love and capable of greatness.
Why were we taught to hate ourselves?
Because others out there benefit from us feeling unsatisfied, unhappy with ourselves, and incapable. When we’re unhappy with ourselves we do everything we can to change who we are in some misguided hope that if we change ENOUGH, we’ll look at ourselves one day and love what we see. Hair cuts, nose jobs, weight loss or gain, push up, tuck in, flatten, smooth, blur all the little imperfections we have.
When we’re unsatisfied with ourselves we spend our money on things we believe will fill the void inside us: clothes, food, STUFF, booze...
When we’re unsatisfied with ourselves we spend our money on things we believe will fill the void inside us: clothes, food, STUFF, booze...
Pick your Vices...
When we feel incapable of great things we stay underfoot and continue to do mediocre work that makes us unhappy. This is work that society needs someone to perform, and if we’re broken enough, it will be us.
But none of this was ever designed to make us happy. So why do we let how we see ourselves be dictated by people who we know do not have our best interest at heart?
How can we ever be proud of what we have accomplished if every minute of the day we are just ruminating on all the unique ways that we suck?
We have these secret dreams that all of us hold close to our hearts and never take steps towards because we don’t feel like there’s a chance in hell someone like US could actually have THAT. But how do we even know that what it is we want is ACTUALLY what we want if everything we ever dreamed of is born out of a pit of self-loathing?
Do we actually want to be working the job we’re in? Go to the gym and try to change how we look? Spend the money on one more item we hope will bring us some joy? Or… are we just filling a hole where something bigger should be?
There’s just no way to know until we start making space for ourselves to just be. Be imperfect. Be human. be loved.
Don't give up, there's hope
The way to happiness and contentment isn’t one more thing in your shopping cart. It isn’t the money you have, the job you work, or the accomplishments you achieve. It’s how you feel about yourself.
Nothing you achieve, buy, or do in your life will ever be enough until you make time to start telling yourself you ARE enough. period.
With our without those things.
And you will never have the energy and drive to do the things you truly want to do until you learn to stop burning huge amounts of your energy on putting yourself down.
Think of how much of YOU is wasted on hurting yourself. Millions of thoughts and countless hours of your life so far have been dedicated to telling yourself you CAN’T, you SHOULDN’T, and you are not enough.
What if you could take all the energy you spend on beating yourself up and put it towards something amazing that makes you excited to wake up each morning?
Ground zero for greatness is finding a way to love yourself today. As you are. Imperfect, awkward, incomplete you.
You see, if we can’t love who we are today, there is nothing we can do that will bring us joy. It starts with us, inside of us first.
Once we cultivate self-love, it’s so much easier to see what it is we’re doing out of self-hatred and let it go STOP IT. When we stop wasting energy on the things that hurt us we get our lives back. We get our futures back.
Think of how much further you will go. Think of the amazing things you could dream of if you woke up feeling good about yourself every single day. Think of how much more empowered you would feel if every time something went wrong you didn’t waste one second on wondering what’s wrong with you and instead took care of yourself and kept working on the things you KNEW you wanted most and absolutely could achieve?
What does that life look like? Soak that in for a minute. That could be you.

My name is Chany, and I'd be honoured to help.

My name is Chany and I didn’t want to live past 17. I didn’t think there was any way I had enough potential or worth to do anything meaningful with my life, so I didn’t want to have one. I hated what I saw in the mirror every day, and wished that I wouldn’t have to wake up again every. single. day.
And… I got sick and tired of feeling that way. I got up, hated myself, tried my best to skate by, find little things to break up the sadness, and fell back asleep. Then I did it all again the next day. I tried therapy which helped me take the first few steps I needed to get better… but it wasn’t enough. Life kept droning on and I kept resenting the face in the mirror.
I knew I wasn’t going anywhere. I also knew that there had to be more to life than this. That my pain had to amount to something more than just getting by and functioning.
So I started searching and practicing. Meditation, yoga, spirituality, self-development, journaling, fitness, nutrition… you name it and I’ve explored how it can improve my sense of self so that I can have a truly epic life.
While I practiced all these different ways to grow, I realized that the most important thing that was missing from so much guidance is cultivating self-love. Without it, these practices were just one more method I used to put myself down and punish myself.
We can achieve so much more when we get behind ourselves and learn to be our best caretakers, cheerleaders, and friend FIRST. It is the foundation we need to truly incorporate these practices into our lives in a HEALTHY way.
So I started the work.
I have spent years growing my ability to radically accept where I’m at day to day and make space for what I’m experiencing with love and compassion. I have found that that shift alone has opened up so much for me that I never thought was possible. Simply loving myself enough to treat myself valuably gave me the strength to believe I was capable of anything. My relationship to my self-development shifted so much… all of a sudden those practices became easy and there was no pain.
I wake up every single day excited to meet the world. I am in a loving relationship of many years. I have travelled all over the world with very little money or promise of security and safety and I didn’t bat an eye. I made a place for myself in this world according to my needs and my dreams all on my own two feet. I could go on about all the amazing shit I’ve done that I didn’t even know I wanted to be able to do, but at the end of the day, the most important thing to know is I absolutely, completely, wholly love myself. And that is the foundation of every other wonderful thing in my life.
It breaks my heart that there are people out there who are wandering around in pain and discomfort reeling at the idea that this is the best that life will offer them. That’s why I’m taking all the work I’ve done on cultivating self-love and offering it to others. Self-love is my guiding principle in everything that I do, and I know it can completely change your life the way it did mine.
We all deserve love and we all deserve a life that we dream about. I know I can help others achieve that and it would be my greatest honour to do so.
